When the time of his birth approached very close, the revered mother saw in a dream one day the Caliph Ali sule who had come along, saying: “O daughter, soon you are going to give birth to an eminent son, the majestic and the exalted. Name him Ali after me.”
A day after she had a similar dream. The Prophet Exul, the eminence of the worlds, came along and passed on the happy news and said: “Name him Ahmad after me.”
After the Prophet’s ( seal) glad tidings, a venerable elderly gentleman came to see her father. He called on and met her.
He showed his affection to her and said: “The baby will be
known as ‘Ala-ud-Deen.”
Consequently, he was named ‘ALA-UD-DEEN ALI AHMAD.
Baba Fareed entrusted him with the duty of distribution of food (Langar). He accepted this duty happily and in between engaged himself in prayers. He dispensed with his duties well and also attended the discourse of Baba Freed Ganj-e-Shakar. Frequent and continuous fasting and eating leaves and wild food made him weak. When his mother came back again and saw him, she complained to his brother (Baba Fareed) about his weakness. Baba Fareed called upon him and asked the reason. Sabir Pak replied, “You ordered me to distribute the food and not to partake from it”. Baba Fareed embraced him happily and remarked, “He is sabir (Patient)”. From that day forth, He became famous with the name of “Sabir”.

Dargah Sabir Pak Kaliyar Sharif
Hazrat Alauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir Piya (1196–1291) was a prominent Indian Sufi saint of the Chishti Order. His holy shrine is located in Kaliyar Sharif, near Haridwar in Uttarakhand. Thousands of devotees visit every year to seek blessings at the revered Dargah Sabir Pak.

Hazrat Qibla Shah Ali Manzar Aijaz Quddusi Sabri Sahab, the present Sajjada Nasheen of Dargah Huzoor Sabir Pak (RA), is the eldest among three noble brothers. All three are the blessed sons of Hazrat Shah Manzar Aijaz Quddusi Sabri Sahab (popularly known as Shimmi Miyan Sahab, Rahmatullah Alaih).
As the Sajjada Nasheen and the eldest of the family, he fulfills his responsibility with great wisdom, compassion, and leadership. He leads the Dargah with dignity, ensuring that the duties of the Sajjada Nasheen are carried out in the finest manner, while also nurturing and guiding his younger brothers with love and affection.
A young personality of noble character and humility, deeply devoted to the service of the shrine. By the command and guidance of the Sajjada Nasheen, he personally oversees the arrangements of the Dargah and the hospitality of visiting devotees (Zaireen). He also travels to various cities to propagate the teachings and blessings of the Sabri Silsila. Despite being only 23 years old, he has displayed remarkable maturity, understanding, and dedication. His loyalty and sincerity towards his elder brother, the Sajjada Nasheen, are exemplary, and he assists him in every responsibility with utmost devotion.
